SITE-LOG is Microedge's family of rugged, battery-powered, multi-channel data loggers designed for industrial, laboratory, research, testing, and environmental monitoring applications.

Depending on the model, SITE-LOG data loggers provide multiple external measurement channels together with onboard temperature monitoring and configurable input ranges. They can be connected to sensors, transmitters, transducers, and other compatible signal sources. The current product family includes dedicated models for temperature, voltage, current, humidity, and pulse/state/event measurements.
SITE-LOG data loggers operate as standalone recording instruments, storing measurements in non-volatile flash memory for later retrieval. Their rugged aluminum enclosures and conformal-coated circuit boards provide added protection for long-term use in demanding environments.
A 16-bit analog-to-digital converter provides high-resolution measurements, while programmable sampling intervals allow SITE-LOG loggers to support both relatively fast testing and long-term monitoring applications.
SITE-LOG data loggers connect directly to a Windows computer through USB and are supported by SiteView software.

SITE-LOG is designed for applications requiring more than simple data recording. Depending on the model, available functions include programmable alarm thresholds, alarm outputs, excitation control, custom equations, delayed logging, field push-button activation, and FIFO operation.
This flexibility allows the same SITE-LOG platform to support applications ranging from laboratory measurement to long-term industrial monitoring.
Multi-Channel Data Logging
Multiple input channels are available for temperature, voltage, current, humidity, pulse, state, event, and other measurement applications.
16-Bit Data Resolution
A 16-bit analog-to-digital converter provides high-resolution measurements for industrial, laboratory, and research applications.
Non-Volatile Flash Memory
Recorded measurements are stored in onboard flash memory and retained for later download. Memory capacity varies by model, with current SITE-LOG models providing up to 8 MB.
Wide Sampling Interval Selection
Programmable sampling intervals support both fast testing and long-term monitoring, with sampling as fast as 20 milliseconds on supported models and intervals up to 12 hours.
Long Battery Life
Low-power operation provides long-term standalone recording, with selected SITE-LOG models offering battery life of up to 10 years or more at a 1-minute sampling interval.
USB and Serial Communication
Plug & Play USB communication provides direct connection to SiteView. Supported models also include an AUX TTL-level serial interface with automatic baud-rate detection up to 115200 bps.
SiteView Software Support
SiteView provides logger configuration, data download, real-time monitoring, graphing, tabular display, calibration, custom equations, alarm configuration, and data analysis.
Alarm and Excitation Control
Supported models provide programmable alarm thresholds and configurable output functions for alarm notification and excitation control.
Flexible Logging Modes
Depending on the model, logging can start immediately, at a scheduled time, or through field push-button activation. Memory-full operation can be configured to stop recording or continue in FIFO mode.
Remote Network Access
Connect USB-based SITE-LOG data loggers to a Smart-Hub for Ethernet-based remote access through SiteView, SiteView-Web, SiteView SDK, or Pluto.
RESTful API and Modbus TCP Integration
Through Smart-Hub, SITE-LOG measurements can be accessed by third-party software and industrial systems using RESTful Web API and Modbus TCP interfaces.
