SMART-HUB

Smart-Hub is a slim but powerful 3-in-1 hardware that provides multiple popular communication standards allowing Microedge and other systems to access and interact with Microedge data loggers remotely in much more flexible but standard ways.

It offers the following standards and functionalities:

1. USB Device Server:

Smart-Hub acts as a USB Device Server allowing SiteView, SiteView Web, SiteView SDK and Pluto to access all data loggers connected to Smart-Hub's USB ports.

2. RESTful Web API

Smart-Hub provides RESTful Web API endpoints that allow other software and systems, to view data logger activities, download data and view real-time readings.

3. Modbus TCP Gateway

Smart-Hub is also a Modbus TCP gateway that turns all connected data loggers into Modbus TCP slave devices. Real-time readings are saved in Input Registers and made available for Modbus Masters to poll and consume.

  All connected data loggers become standard Modbus TCP slave devices
• Admin Web Portal:
  Easily view and change settings from your own browser
• Remote Access:
  Communicate with data loggers from any place where Ethernet/Internet is available.
  
• Multiple Access:
  Multiple clients can access the same data logger simultaneously.
• Multiple Data Loggers:
  Up to 4 data loggers (SITE-LOG, iLOG, PRECISE-LOG) can be connected to it's dedicated USB ports.
• Secured Password Protection:
  Only authorized clients can access the system.
• Dynamic IP Addressing:
  The IP address is assigned automatically by the DHCP server after Smart-Hub is connected to the network.
• Power Source to Data Loggers: 
  Smart-Hub provides a 5VDC power supply to the connected data loggers, preserving the data loggers’ onboard battery.
